Went partial PPF and now I'm second guessing myself

So I got partial PPF on my Accord about three months ago, just the front bumper, half hood, mirrors and door cups, and I'm already noticing small chips on the doors from shopping cart dings and one decent scratch on the rear quarter panel from god knows what. The film itself has been great, no lifting, no yellowing, and the front end still looks new which is exactly what I wanted. But now I'm kicking myself because I saved money going partial and I'm still going to end up with a car that looks half protected and half beat up. I stumbled on https://paintprotectionfilm.ae/full-car-ppf-vs-partial-ppf after the fact and it basically said what I'm now realizing, that partial makes sense if you mostly do highway driving but full is better if you park in public lots or have kids. My question is, can I add film to the remaining panels later or does it look weird with different ages of film? And has anyone here gone partial first and then added more down the line? I don't want to waste what I already paid for but I also don't want to regret not doing the whole thing while the car was still new. Any advice from people who have been in this spot would help a lot.
